01 — The Problem

India's post-warranty repair experience is fundamentally broken.

Every device owner in India faces the same impossible choice when their electronics break after warranty expires. There is no trustworthy, fairly priced, transparent middle ground — and nobody has built it at scale.

700+ million smartphone users. Hundreds of millions of laptops. All aging. All eventually needing repair. The organised, trustworthy segment of this market is less than 2% of the total.
Option A

Local Shops

Cheap but unvetted. Opaque pricing. Counterfeit parts with no way to verify. Zero accountability when something goes wrong.

The Gap

No trustworthy middle ground exists.

This is the entire opportunity. A market of hundreds of millions of devices with no credible, transparent repair option.

Option B

Authorised Centres

Trustworthy but 2–3x overpriced. Long wait times. Poor communication. Inaccessible for most device owners.

02 — Our Solution

Radical transparency. Vetted technicians. Your device, tracked at every stage.

We are not building another repair shop. We are building the trust infrastructure that the entire repair market is missing — asset-light, scaling into a pan-India platform.

01

Customer books online

Clean booking interface. Instant price estimate. Pre-approval before any work begins.

02

We pick up the device

Doorstep pickup. Device photographed and documented before leaving the customer.

03

Full transparency repair

Photos of every part removed. Parts authenticity documented. Customer approves before repair proceeds.

04

Delivery and guarantee

Device returned. Full repair report provided. Service guarantee on every job.

What makes us different
01

Transparency engine

Photographic documentation at every repair stage — parts removed, parts installed, authenticity data. Built into the core workflow, not added as a feature.

02

Vetted technician network

We identify the best independent technicians in each city zone, vet them personally, and hold them to our quality standard. Not a marketplace — a curated network.

03

Institutional B2B channel

Schools, offices, co-working spaces — device management contracts that give us volume, recurring revenue, and reference clients from day one.

04

ML intelligence layer

Repair outcome prediction, parts demand forecasting, counterfeit detection. Built on our Mathematics and ML background — a defensible technical moat competitors cannot easily replicate.

03 — Market Opportunity

An ₹80,000 crore market. Less than 2% organised.

India's electronics repair market is one of the largest underserved opportunities in consumer services. Every device breaks eventually. No credible brand owns the repair experience at scale.

Total market
₹80K Cr
India electronics repair and maintenance market — almost entirely unorganised
Delhi addressable
₹500 Cr
Laptop repair alone in Delhi — 8–12 lakh users, ₹5,000 avg ticket annually
Extended warranty
₹10K Cr
Adjacent market we enter through our B2B warranty fulfillment platform

Policy tailwind: India's Right to Repair movement is gaining legislative momentum — legally compelling brands to make parts available to third-party repairers. The government's ERSO pilot actively supports formalising electronics repair as a national industry. The timing for this business is structurally favourable.

04 — Business Model

Three revenue streams. One compounding platform.

Consumer repair fees

Per-repair charges at ₹1,500–₹15,000 per job. 25–35% gross margin after technician and logistics costs.

Consumer Fleet

Institutional device management

No upfront retention fee early on. Pure transparent per-repair billing for schools, offices, co-working spaces to secure volume and references rapidly.

Institutional Fleet

B2B warranty fulfillment

Handle post-warranty service for electronics brands nationally. One brand contract worth more than 10,000 individual consumer repairs.

Enterprise Ecosystem

E-waste recycling

Structured recycling and refurbishment of devices and parts generated by our repair network. Operated as a separate business unit inside Cepheus.

Circular Economy

Refurbished device resale

Devices beyond repair bought, refurbished, and resold. Natural extension of the repair operation with strong unit economics.

Secondary Market

Parts supply chain

Verified genuine parts supply to our technician network and eventually to third-party repairers. Solves a market-wide counterfeit parts problem.

Infrastructure Moat

Semiconductor and deep tech

Long-term vertical integration into India's semiconductor ecosystem — informed by component-level repair data across millions of devices that no other company possesses.

Deep Tech Integration
05 — Roadmap

From one technician in Delhi to India's repair infrastructure.

Every stage builds on the last. Consumer trust enables institutional contracts. Institutional scale enables brand partnerships. Brand partnerships enable the platform. The platform enables everything else.

Phase 1
Prove the model
One vetted technician in one Delhi zone
First institutional client signed (school/office) via zero-cost MOU
30+ repairs completed with documentation
DTU IIF incubation funding secured
Positive unit economics demonstrated
Phase 2
Build the brand
Expand to 3–4 Delhi zones
8–12 institutional clients across schools and offices
Launch customer platform — booking, tracking, documentation
Add second device category alongside laptops
First external angel funding conversation
Phase 3
Scale the network
Pan-Delhi presence with zonal hub model

BS-MS Mathematics, Delhi Technological University — Deep technical training in mathematical modeling, machine learning, and analytical system logic.
ML and Cryptography Research, SAG (DRDO, 2025) — Conducted core cryptographic and neural network modeling at one of India's elite defense research laboratories. Proven capability to architect robust technical solutions inside highly restrictive, mission-critical operational structures.
National-Level Hackathon Winner & SIH 2025 Runner-Up — Survived a brutal, multi-tiered institutional selection filter to emerge as one of the exceptionally few teams nominated by DTU to represent the university. Ultimately competed nationally at the Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2025), securing the **National Runner-Up** title in a hyper-competitive field of **72,000+ elite applicants**.
Self-Taught Repair Fundamentals — A non-negotiable operational baseline. The founder commands hands-on component-level diagnostic mastery over the hardware layer, ensuring absolute oversight and preventing third-party vendor exploitation.
Domain-Relevant Ecosystem Leverages — Immediate operational access to institutional procurement frameworks across academic sectors, tech clusters, and institutional networks across Delhi.
07 — Long-term Vision

Not a repair shop. The operating system for device aftercare in India.

Where this goes
Every electronic device sold in India. Serviced, recycled, and powered by Cepheus.
The repair network is the entry point. The platform — carrying device data, repair history, warranty status, parts intelligence — is the actual business. When we know what every device in India looks like, when it fails, and what it costs to fix, we become indispensable to every brand that sells into this market.

As the repair network scales, it generates two things most companies never get: a pan-India physical presence and a mountain of e-waste. Both become businesses in their own right. The e-waste from millions of repaired devices feeds a structured recycling and refurbishment operation — turning what was cost into revenue, and what was environmental liability into an ESG asset.

The long horizon — and we mean long — is vertical integration into the semiconductor supply chain. India is building its semiconductor ambitions. A company that understands device failure at the component level, that has repaired millions of boards and chips, that has catalogued parts failures across every major brand in the market, is uniquely positioned to contribute to and benefit from that national infrastructure. This is not a near-term plan. It is the destination that makes every earlier decision make sense.

Repair network

Pan-India vetted technician infrastructure across consumer and institutional segments. The foundation everything else is built on.

Device platform

Warranty management, repair history, device health data — for consumers, brands, and insurers. The data layer that makes us indispensable.

E-waste and circular economy

Structured recycling of repair-generated waste. Refurbished device resale. Every broken part becomes a resource, not a liability.

Supply chain ownership

Verified parts sourcing network. Own logistics. Eventual parts manufacturing for high-volume common components across our repair network.

Semiconductor ambition

Long-term vertical integration into India's semiconductor ecosystem — informed by millions of component-level repair data points no other company has.

Brand warranty infrastructure

Become the default post-purchase service partner for electronics brands in India — removing their customer service burden entirely.
